As part of the Research and Development team, you will determine, implement and monitor research experiments. While developing strategies and supporting the organisational research objectives, you may lead research projects and provide research advice based on findings and insights through reports and presentations.

Job requirements:
PhD degree in Agronomy, Botany, other relevant fields
5-8 years’ experience in agriculture (experience in Hydroponics and aquaponics is preferred)
Ability to plan and design research proposals.
Comfortable outside academia as an applied researcher.
Strong proven writing skills and ability to write for different audiences (Research entities, internal members, workers,..etc)
Minimum for publications.
Excellent research skills.
Excellent Analytical and Problem-solving skills.
Ability to Lead teams of different backgrounds and deliver clear vision
Data analysis tools is a plus
English Language proficiency is a must
Full time Commitment and dedication is a must
Job Duties and responsibilities
Developing high-quality research reports and/or publications according to the project type and requirements.
Developing methodologies and Designing experimental setup that clearly fulfills the research objectives.
lead relevant meetings associated with the research project or related activities.
Ensure the flow of the experiments protocol and the data collection as required from all team members.
Responsible for resolving any arising problems/ challenges that affect the ongoing research projects.
Predict and mitigate any risks that may cause delay of ongoing research projects.
Full Responsibility for the accuracy of the data collected and disseminated from the project
Planning and implementing upcoming research projects
Managing and reporting on the ongoing research projects in terms of budgeting, deliverables, and milestones.
Lead a team of junior researchers, production engineers and workers to implement ongoing experimental projects with high quality and efficiency.
Support the R&D Manager in developing Strategy, Standard methods and protocols of carrying out research projects and expanding research portfolio.
Perform practical research work as needed for ongoing experiments.
